WireGrass Restaurant and Bar in Quitman

2 of us had the seafood buffet and everything on it was amazing, the fried stuff wasn't greasy and the baked stuff wasn't dry. Hubby had a steak and it was one of the best he's ever eaten!!

Very disappointed on Friday night February 21. Double check the website tonight has a vehicle with four people in it who came to dinner according to their dinner schedule. When we got there there was a sign on the sidewalk the restaurant is closed for a private party. I called the restaurant and shared our dismay, and got hung up on. As far as service went we are very disappointed as far as the food?

Had to change my review . We went tonight 8/24/19 seafood buffet is no longer available on Saturday night Friday only , no seafood on menu however we understood a seafood platter was available at same price as all you can eat buffet !!! Sorry cat recommend any longer !

My party walked in and we didn't get acknowledged til ten mins or so later. Then another couple walked in they got acknowledged quickly. So I grab my purse and my guy hand and told him it's time to go. Reminds of of the movie get out so we did. I advise anyone of color to come here they are not for our kind. They walk pass the table several times

This place is a diamond in the rough, there Friday dinner buffet is amazing their lunch menu is small but everything on it is great this place is a must if you have not tried it yet I would like to eat everything on their menu restaurant is very clean staff is very professional. Good luck trying to eat the Quitman special which is a club sandwich very big and good quality great value for what you get you will not be disappointed.

Sorry... Kinda Yuppy feel. Advertised as family Buffett but usually just sandwiches at lunch. Very nice remodeled building so atmosphere is nice if that's what you like.

Great restaurant in a small cozy town. Beautiful historic building. All home made food of the best quality. One of the bestplaces I've found. Authentic. Highly recommend, I wish I could visit again.

I like this place I just wish the salad bar had more options on it and I wish they would adopt a vegan/vegetarian menu as well. They have daily specials and a regular menu option. The portions are great sometimes too much and it is reasonably priced. If you go ask for Tonya, she is a wonderful waitress👌

Wonderful service, wonderful food, and a wonderful atmosphere. I had the filet and it was one of the best steaks then I have had out in a restaurant. The butter that they put on top was what really made it. The green beans and the bake potato were perfect. My favorite part was the chocolate cake that came with my meal for free. All in all a fantastic experience. This was well worth the drive over from interstate 75.

Nice place to have a night out!! Comforting ambiance and atmosphere, great service, and plentiful menu options. I highly recommend the filet and the sweet potato chips. My daughter loved the salad bar and its croutons! Drinks were wonderful as well. We'll be back!
